Trek and Climb with RAJA

We are going to organize an expedition to Mount Satopanth (7075m), Garhwal Himalaya,India in 2016. Duration: 28 August, 2016 to 27 September, 2016. This will be our second expedition to Mount Satopanth after 2011. We have led and climbed other major peaks in the Gangotri glacier complex with safety and success in the recent past. They include Shivling, Janhukot, Srikailash, Bhagirathi, Thelu, Koteswar. It will not be entirely out of context if I mention that, we have been on other peaks of Indian Himalaya, such as Kamet, Trisul, and Nanda Devi East as well; just to  make a point that we know what we are doing. It gives us immense pleasure to announce that the 3rd Sujal Mukherjee Memorial Lecture will be held in Kolkata on 19th December, 2015. We are pleased to be able to continue our effort on bringing in an academic environment to the widely popular field of Himalayan mountaineering and trekking in Kolkata, West Bengal.
